Ehrm... Interesting. I can imagine you make a nice bonus if you sell a couple of these per week, right? ;)

Well, his was numbered past half of them. I'm pretty sure they are almost sold out. He got his 2 years ago or so.

Wow...... So many diamond haters here. Ive been here for a year now and have not come across more than maybe 2 or 3 that like the bling. I personally do, although I can't afford them. Yes MANY that have been posted are over the top..(aftermarket pieces with bezels larger than the dial), but to me the factory bling just say's "Ive made it, and I love watches". I don't see the same dislike about the blinged out Rolies. Maybe its that Breitling has a more traditional sense about them and are not known for the "Diamond Collection"?

For me (and while I admit I have slightly come round to factory diamond bezels on some of the Chronomat models), I just think that diamonds go against the whole "Instruments for Professionals" thing. The Chronomat is just about dressy enough to carry off a nice understated factory diamond bezel, but the rest of the range simply doesn't need it IMHO. And as soon as we go any further than just the bezel, then we rapidly get into the "more money than taste and/or sense" category. You honestly couldn't pay me to wear one of those outside of the house. Yes I'd like to own one...... but only so I could immediately sell it, pay off a bit of my mortgage and also buy a decent Breitling!

And this is the reason why Breitling makes as many models as they do. To accomodate every taste.

Absolutely, and as we've said before, it'd be a boring world if we all liked the same things.
