Hi there,
about last year I was already eyeing the big bad wolf from Breitling! But I did favor the Super Avenger, which is already gone now...
This year I wanted something nice for the summer! Something yellow - Breitling-yellow!!
So I looked long and hard to the wolf... size was perfect, but I learned that I can't really handle the "bling"... I'm being constantly rubbing fingerprints and smudges and looking for scratches... not very enjoyable for me and one of the main reasons I sold my SA and don't wear my Steelfish that often.
On top there's that massive weight... I couldn't wear the SA that long, as is was rather uncomfortable on my wrist... just too much weight! And the steel wolf with bracelet was about the same.
So, I was on the lookout for the older titanium version... of course with yellow dial and the earlier Pro I bracelet... now it gets really tricky, because it had to be just this combination!
Luckily I found just the right watch on Ebay... I contacted the seller, who was right about the corner and brought the watch to me for inspection.
The condition was very nice, nearly perfect which just some minor signs of use... its now over 10 years old but looks better than most young watches.
The movement still runs within chronometer specifications and on top the watch was originally bought in my town at my favorite AD.
So I couldn't resist... I payed the man and took it home, right away!

Yesterday I had the time to take some decent shots of it...
Inside the (yellow!) Leatherbox... great style!

I love it how the Pro 1 bracelet takes the form of the ridertabs and takes them down over the bracelet. With the pretty big gaps between the elements of the bracelet it wears very smooth and doesn't tear out armhairs... combined with the lightness of the titanium it almost feels like a fabric-kind of strap - fantastic!

Let's change the background and make the yellow really pop!

Some lumeshots... not quite as much as with the new wolf, but still quite effective and strong!
The balanced layout ensures perfect readability day and night and the yellow dial stands out clearly even if its getting dark.

Now for some detailed shots...
The titanium caseback... I just love the warm feeling of the metal on the wrist... very comfortable.

Helium release valve - a must-have for this watch with 3000m dive capability!

...and of course the signature "B" engraving on the bezel.

A view impressions of the dial... Very nice details and I think the flat paint on dial and hands adds to the perfect readability and the professional look of the watch.

Now finally some wristshots... on my (8.5")wrist, the watch wears just perfect! Even if its the same diameter of the Steelfish, it looks slightly smaller, due to the greater hight and the darker case.
The size-weight-relation is in my eyes perfectly balanced! The watch is still big but not over the top, even without the "bling" it still got the Breitling look and feel to it! It wears perfectly and with the lightness of the titanium doesn't get topheavy and go sliding around on the wrist.

I just love the yellow dial - a perfect good-mood-watch for the summer! I'm wearing it for three days straight now and every time my eyes catch a glimpse of the yellow shine on my wrist I got that little smile an my face...
That's all for today... I hope, you enjoyed my presentation of this old-school classic!
