Hey guys,

thought some of you might like this - was at the GP event in Sydney last month..

here I got to have a look ( and try on !! ) the Bi-Axial Tourbillon

Image

Absolute stunning piece, only 8 in the world - the picture does no justice to this amazing timepiece. Oh yeah, it only costs $580,000!!

Back to reality, and this will most likely be my next watch. The new Sea Hawk range with steel and rubber. The way the case curves around your wrist makes this the most comfortable watch I have ever put on!

talking to people and my AD, you either love this watch or hate it.. I love it!

What I loved about this event, we were able to meet the watch makers and were also given the opportunity to play around with opening some watches and assembling some movements.

Here I am having ago at putting the gold bridges on GP's "Tourbillon with 3 Gold Bridges" watch. Another stunning piece from GP and again photos do it no justice.

Great experience and makes you really appreciate the precision that goes into this..
and then my wife had a shot at it too!

I had a great time clearly - anyway thought I would share this with you guys, enjoy!

Looks like a really good event - thanks for sharing. The new Seahawks are very nice and I like that one you tried on. I wanted one myself a couple of years ago, but no single model had everything I wanted - the steel one had a rubber bezel, the one with a metal bezel was made of ti, and then there was one that almost had it all but had BMW Oracle branding on it. However, they now do this one - http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wFdv5l3qBH0/T ... 9%2B03.jpg
