I agree - I really like it. :) I just had to google "Delrin brake". :) And your eyes are right - it says 17 jewels.

Oh and some were made with some gear wheels nickel and some brass, others all brass - but I'm being anal now :wink:

Exactly. :) And from what I've googled they're actually both more durable and more expensive than metal brakes. :lol:

Correct - if you are a horologist you'll want Delrin - if on the other hand you like looking at the 'pretty bits moving inside my watch' then Breitling will replace with a metal brake if you wish.

Thanks, that is good to know if I change my mind later. Right now I'm pretty happy with the little plastic piece. :)
