It is a beauty... that's for sure. I tried one on the other day and it did look pretty damn awesome on the wrist. I also had to turn the bezel...just like butter as others have reported. This one's not in the cards for me at the moment, but I wouldn't write it off completely. Enjoy your new watch!

I guess since it's a new rule...I should post my new LV-c. The dial almost looks black at this angle!

I support this rule! The new case design, bezel and the solid glidelock clasp (so easy to adjust on the fly) is just awesome, if you need help complying with this new rule please contact me as I have a Ceramic 18kt & SS Factory Diamond dial Sub for sale!

I had a hard time deciding between the sub LN-c, LV-c, or GMTIIc. I have been struggling with the decision for at least 6 months now...and finally decided that I was going to go with my heart and get the green sub. As you can see from my picture above the dial looks almost black from certain angles. In fact, when I am wearing it the dial looks very dark green or black most of the time. It really only has a bright metallic green color in the sunlight or very bright lighting indoors. When the dial is metallic green...it is absolutely beautiful!!

The bracelet is a great upgrade from the older version, and the micro adjustment in the clasp is fantastic for getting a perfect fit in seconds. The bracelet adjustment was a big factor for me because I was also considering the GMTIIC, but ultimately the all brushed bracelet, and the micro adjustment in the clasp on the sub put it over the top for me. I like for my watch to fit snug on my wrist and not flop around, and this clasp allows me to get the perfect fit  . I also love the ceramic bezel, platinum numbers on the bezel, maxi hour markers, and the larger case. I think Rolex did a hell of a job with this watch...my only regret is that I was too stubborn to look at them until this year.

By the way Pete...your black sub-c looks incredible!! I was really close to picking that one up...especially since the AD could not tell me when the green one I had ordered was coming in.

**Special thanks to Sergio for continually telling me how great his GMTIIC was...he finally wore me down. I guess we are even now since he originally didn't like JLC**

I'm glad you caved in also. I was a hater of Rolex for the longest time. Initially, I disliked the attention that the Rolex name attracts. One of my co-workers always comments on my watches. Even though the comments are always positive, when I wore the Rolex she was drooling -- because of the Rolex name. Once I got over the idea of "I don't want people seeing me wear a Rolex" I tried on the previous generation Sub. I loved in in the pictures but was disappointed once I tried it on. It was too small, too light, and the bracelet sucked. That all changed once the Sub C came out. The small changes made a big difference. It wore much bigger and the bracelet was finally worthy for a luxury brand.

Anyway, your green dial is amazing. I love how it looks completely different depending on the lighting conditions. Each picture I've seen of the dial is beautiful!! Enjoy it John.
