Which is better?

Number 1?

Or Number 2?

(hint - #2 was the first pic taken with my new iPhone. #1? Droid Incredible.)

What have I been waiting for????

The resolution on #2 is as good as many cameras!

Cameras in smartphones have improved greatly over the last year or so.

Here's one of my trademark blurry wristshots taken on my old BlackBerry Bold:

And here's one taken on my new Bold 9780:

Actaully I can't blame Android for the lousy pics. It is the hardware manufacturer - in this case HTC and the Droid Incredible I got last December. A terribly designed phone that is nearly impossible to use without jerking the camera when snapping the pic.

Plus I had to download the Garmin Navigation app for $40 as I rely on my phone's GPS when taveleing on business.

Wow, what a difference. All my pics here are on my original Motorola Droid. Okay shots from a little distance but not good up close. The resolution on #2 is amazing for a camera phone.

Ah, well, I'll get to go shopping again in January.

Photo 2 is incredible. I've noticed the same thing with my new iPhone 4 - I just upgraded from the 3GS - the resolution and quality of the 4 is just awesome.

Sharky, why is #2 so small?

It looks like it is better quality, but so small.

Can you take pics of the face closeup with both? I actually liked #1 better, then I looked at the band and clearly #2 is MUCH more detailed.
