The main trick is to use a black light flashlight to charge the lume. I shot them in total darkness, at around 1/60 and f2.8, ISO 1600.

Most places like Walgreen's sell small LED flashlights, either regular or black light, at the checkout area for a few bucks. Both will fully charge the lume in seconds.

A good black light won't just charge the lume, it will make it glow like crazy!
