I just have to chime in again, Altair. I have really been doing some research on Rolex watches for the past couple of weeks. I do love the DSSD, but it is just too big for me. I am going out tomorrow to do my first actual serious Rolex hunting. I am hoping to come across the GMT Master II. It is more my size, 40mm instead of 44mm. It also has the ceramic bezel, which looks gorgeous in the photos, and I am sure even more spectacular in person. It also now has the triplock crown like the DSSD, and also the new Parachrom Hairspring. I believe only the Milgauss and the DSSD have that spring now. As I am really into the smaller watches now, I am finding a lot of Rolexes that are 34 and 36mm as well, and many without the date, as I really like a simple dial. Having said that, of course, the GMT II is 40mm, has a date and also a cyclops date window, which I am not really fond of. However, I tried on a 42mm Breitling Superocean today, and the size was OK, so I think the GMT II will be just perfect. I really like the GMT movement, with the independent 24 hr hand, and the way that they did the hand and the watch model name in green. Once I understand it more thoroughly, I will really understand how it can actually display 3 time zones, as opposed to most that display only 2. The ceramic bezel with the hours up to 24 should be quite a sight in person.
Cheers,
Carl

On the Rolex forums there is always a lot of debate, DSSD or GHTII-C. Many just buy both. :)
