Hi gang.

Just purchased my first Breitling a few days ago, well kind of.

I'd been lusting over the Skyland Avenger since seeing one in Mexico late last year.
Stopped by my local AD and he made me an offer I just couldn't refuse.
All was good in the world except I just couldn't get used to the smaller 45mm watch after wearing larger 48mm watches in the past.

On my second day with the Skyland I noticed that the screw down crown was not screwing down.
After returning the Skyland I traded it for the Super Avenger I have now.
It's a new Blue face SA and I am in love! :D

Thanks to all for making this site incredibly informative and dangerously addictive :D

Be forewarned - these Breitling's seem to get lonely! You should go back some time and pick up another Skyland to keep the SA company.

Kstone is right Dave, I used to think that the idea of having more than one watch, let alone more than one 'expensive' watch, was pure folly and the stuff of madness. I now have 2 Breitlings!

I completely understand the addiction process and I feel that this is just the beginning :)

I'm already perusing the Breitling catalogue to see what the next Ling might be :D
