Hello to all,

I've always admired the Breitling brand and have decided the time has come to pursue my first Super Avenger. I'm a bit torn between buying from an AD or finding a quality pre-owned version here on the forum. Would anyone care to provide some insights into which might be a better way to proceed? Also, has anyone ever dealt with RICK S before? I see he has a black dial with white subdials SA that I really like the looks of.

Anyhow, I'm very glad to be here and am looking forward to learning as much about Breitling's as I can in the coming weeks and months.

Brian

Welcome aboard!

Looking at the Feedback section looks like Rick and mah (Mark) have just had a successful deal.

It just so happens I'm searching for a Super Avenger also. This forum is very helpfull. I've decided to use an AD for my first Breitling pruchase expeience. You only get one first time, so I'm waiting until I get the exact watch I want at a fair price. The hardest part for me is the waiting.

Good luck with your decision process. From the looks of it your decision will depend firsrly on whether you want new or second hand and/or whether you want to meet an AD and go through that particular process of trying on, talking about etc...either approach has its pro's and con's but the end result is the same which is the point :D

Jefferson certainly has a good point but go with what's most comfortable for you! I certainly enjoyed going through my AD, was a lot of fun!

Welcome aboard!!! My first experience was not through an AD and believe me I'm regretting it  . I wasn't aware about the wealth of knowledge here at the forum and if I had the help of all of the Breitling fans here I wouldn't have been led astray. Since then i went the AD route and love my ling and am contemplating another purchase :D . If you do decide to go the non-AD route just make sure you do your homework.
