Been a Breitling fan for almost 10 years, since I got my Wings 2-tone.
Been wearing a Tag Link Chrono for years though as my everyday watch until I stumbled on the Chrono Avenger last week in Nassau.

No one had one with a gray dial anywhere in the Caribbean (they checked for me), so I got looking as soon as I returned (which is how I stumbled on these forums). Again, no dealers had one available, so I found a used one complete with all papers, receipt, etc. which I received in the mail this afternoon. :D

Was worried for a while though reading about the fakes...

First thing I did was take a picture:

It's funny, because this watch has a gray face despite the fact that it looks black in this picture. I love a black dial, and only went with the gray here because it was so different, but the black was my second choice.

While shopping online, the photos were so deceiving perhaps due to the anti-glare coatings; black, gray and blue all looked like one of the others...

Checked out the Avenger Skylands at the local AD... Ideally I'd like to see a Titanium Chrono Avenger w/a gray or black dial and the stencil numbers from the Skyland... or even a stainless skyland in a brushed finish. My watches like to participate in a lot of outdoor activies such as SCUBA, firearms, ATV/Jet Ski/motoX, and others where the B-ling wouldn't fit in.
