Hey everyone! I recently joined the forum because I was fortunate enough to win a brand new Breitling watch via a putting contest! Although I have always wanted a Breitling, with the world the way it is, I'm unfortunately in a position where I need the money and keeping the watch doesn't make sense financially for me right now. Although it is painful to not be able to wear it (afraid of hurting the value) I have an engagement ring and a downpayment for a house that the proceeds from the watch will be going towards. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations on what information and photo angles a potential buyer would prefer. Also, and forgive me if this is not allowed, but what other sites/ways I could potentially sell the watch? I hope to remain a part of the forum in the future and that in another year or two I'll be back here to buy a Breitling that I can keep long term. Thanks everyone and have a great holiday weekend! |

Welcome to the forums and congratulation on winning the watch! There's no stock answer, as buyers are as varied as individuals. In general, you need clear, detailed photos to show the condition of your watch. Read the note about posting pictures and include proof of ownership. You'll find both of those threads in the Buy / Sell / Trade forum. Look through the other sale threads there and you'll get a good idea of what works and what doesn't. |

Thank you both for the warm welcome and for the advice. The listing has a good amount of views but has yet to garner interest. I'll look to improve the post quality to see if I can improve it. |
