Hi, new to forum and seek advice. I inherited a Breitling Chronospace A56012-1 which was purchased in 1996 by my father. As far as i can tell it has had 2 battery replacements and no service stamps in book. it has rarely been used and requires a new battery as no display showing. looking for advice on steps to take reference battery and service required. Thanks

Welcome...lots of Chronspace owners here I'd think so help is on the way!

I would think you would want to send to Breitling for a battery and "check up"...don't let just anyone pop that open.

Hi,Thanks for reply. Having never owned a watch like this I am unsure of maintenance etc and did not want to take it to just any watch place. Thanks for your advice, will probably have to wait until the places you mentioned open again after lockdown.

Yeah there is defiantly delays...I have one "stuck" on a repair desk here in the US at Breitling...

I am not sure if the same there but Breitling will send you a nice padded box and watch "shipper" if you request...you fill out this form and it gives you a request number that assigns the watch to you and what you want done with it...take a look first link...
