Hi all. I'm delighted to have joined this board. I've owned Breitlings since 1997 and before buying a Galactic 32 for my wife, I thought I would read up if there have been any issues with it. I'm a wee bit upset at present with my "in-house" movement BO1 44 Chronimat in bi-metal having cost £10,060 that came back from service / repair a month ago at BUK, because since then , its initial problem of it loosing time / kept stopping after wearing the same day has just got worse. It now looses a good 15 minutes a day whilst wearing and now stops every night. I know Breitling UK will repair or replace it under its five year warranty with either a new movement (under the Customer Rights Act - they've tepaired it once but it has failed under the agreement) or, they will replace the watch in its entirety if it persists, but I needed to know how big the issue of faulty BO1 chronomat a was on this board before buying a third watch. Welcome to BreitlingSource. Well, what I say? There have been issues with the B01 Caliber and to be honest, there still are some issues. Not so much as in the beginning but I still have clients coming back with their watches because there are issues. Now, to be honest, this is the case with all the brands we sell. Sometimes I wonder how those watches make it trough QC, but apparently they do... |
