Hello everyone!

I'm a totally new member and owner to Breitling.

I've always wanted a nice watch but didn't know which brand to start. I was stuck between Rolex and Breitling. Rolex are nice but they seem a bit elegant (For my taste), I just wanted a nice elegant and sporty watch. I was a bit skeptical about Breitling too, due to their size (I have a small wrist) and I didn't want to Flavor Flav look on my wrist.

Stopped at my AD and tried a few Navi's. I wanted some nice complications and the 1461 fit the bill, the only problem was the 48mm SIZE!! YEAA BOYYY!! came to mind. My only option was to search in the neused market. The 2nd problem - I didn't know where to start. This site has a very helpful history guide of all the Navi's, I was able to find the one I wanted rather quickly.

My attention was immediately focused at the A19340 Olympus model. Great size and has all the complications I wanted. I'm a picky person so I knew the search was going to be difficult. The hunt was on, all of the examples I found have been cosmetically damage or didn't have Box\Papers. If I'm going to spend this kind of money I want to ensure it came with everything.

I found a remote dealer, the watch came with the boxes and all paperwork, it even came with the brass pusher tool. The dealer described the watch as "flawless", I made the commitment and went for it. After getting the watch overnight the first thing was WOW. Thanks to everyone's post's, I'm able to determine the watch authenticity. The watch was exactly what I had envisioned, I took it to my local Breitling Service Center and had them inspected. After 2 days of inspection the watch was in need of service, it had NEVER been service and it needed a complete overhaul

Three weeks and a thousand dollars later I got her back!! Maybe the reason why the original owner didn't service it?!?!? Anyways, I'm a proud owner of this heavy watch 8)

I look forward in sharing my ownership feedback (on my 2nd day!!).

Cheers!! Oh look at the time I got to run! :lingsrock:

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome. I'm really enjoying the watch, I get lots of comments everywhere I go. Someone actually stated "Love your Invicta, never seen that model".

Can anyone tell me how to read the moon-phase feature? Not sure what 0 & 29 1/2 represent. The moon-phase booklet does not explain the use.

Moon has a (roughly) 29 1/2 day cycle new moon to new moon. Reading it is simply a case of looking how much of the moon is showing, to set wait until a full moon and then set it so the indicated moon is full.
