Hi. New here. My first post.

Last year, a colleague of mine let me try on his Aerospace and damn it felt comfy and really light. I was not immediately smitten. I was not sure about having a Superquartz.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago.

I was looking for a new watch to purchase and came across an Aerospace Avantage for sale.

And now...

I bought one after the other. Can't decide which one to keep. Maybe both.

The first Breitling that really caught my eye is this.... (Photo borrowed from Heuerville)

I am still looking for one. Hope to have one someday. My only concern is that it might be too large for my 6.75ish wrist.

Happy to be here.

Welcome! I have that exact model off the grey aerospace. I find the grey goes with everything.

Thanks to you both.

I like the grey...and I like the blue on certain instances too. I have a grey Evo inbound too. I know I can't keep all three. I guess I need to see and wear the incoming Evo first before I can surely decide.

Do I see correctly that the crown of the newer, 43 mm version is a bit taller than that of the 42 mm version, while the diameters are the same? Can you please take these sizes? Thanks a lot!
BTW a fantastic collection! My choice would go to the 42 mm version and to the blue dial... Enjoy!

The crown in the Evo (43mm) is definitely taller but hard to tell if the diameter is the same or not. I can tell you that it is easier to turn the crown of the Evo compared to the one on the Avantage because of the height.

Thanks. I am liking the grey over the blue. It is more versatile. Although they are by no means considered as dress watches, the grey is "dressier".

Thanks, that was really quick! :) If you happen to have a caliber some time in your hand I still wonder about the diameters... (If I can put my hands some time on the Avantage I'd surely try to have the newer crown because of the easier turn (unless the protecting shoulders wouldn't allow), that's why I've asked. I've had the Avantage a while back for a few days and I would be happy with a tad taller crown... at the same time I do not think it would look bad...
Regarding the colors, I totally agree with you that the grey is dressier (the black should be the dressiest of all available colors because when the LCD is switchet off the existance of the LCD is almost non-visible) but I am for blue (and blue/black) dial Breitlings when available... :) a sickness that cannot be cured... :)
