Hello Breitling Enthusiasts!
My wife and I run a charter boat in the Virgin Islands, I am the Captain of a Lagoon 450 Catamaran and she is the chef. Yesterday, while my father in-law was still in town visiting us, we took him to the duty free shops to look at swiss watches. He purchased a beautiful new Breitling Aerospace, and to my suprise he gave me his older model Aerospace right off his wrist!
It's got a few small problems, the waterproofing is compromised and the gold plating is wearing through in places, but it's still ticking and I was able to clean it up pretty nice with just a toothbrush.
I don't know a lot about watches. I used to wear a mid range Citizen and I was a huge fan of the brand, but it's almost embarrassing how fast I jumped ship when I got this beautiful Breitling on my wrist. Can you blame me?
I would like to impress my father in-law by fixing up his old watch, so I will be around asking questions and keeping you all updated. Cheers!
