Hello All,

have got to say what a great site - lots and lots of info and knowledgeable posters; there's plenty on here to distract me from work !

I bought a used Emergency (yellow) almost a year ago; having always promised myself from when they first launched that I would, one day, own one.

After a service (at a cost to rival having my car serviced) I'm really happy with it, and would like to one day add another Breitling to the collection.

Service took about 3 months all in.
Part of the delay was that I sent it to a watchmaker who was recommended by the person I bought the watch from. He had it for a while before deciding that he didn't want to work on it, and that it should go to Breitling - fair enough; i'd rather that than he do something to the watch that would cost more to put right.

Total cost of service was £350+ VAT
