Hello everyone --- from someone who had no idea what a Breitling was not so long ago!! Long story short: wifes 40th coming up soon and she's dropped a few hints that she'd like a new watch--no specific brand mentioned--"maybe a Movado". I literally googled "watch"...and wandered aimlessly into the forest. For a few months I soaked up whatever I could about this new (to me) subject and finally here I am -- still not sure exactly what to get her (Ebel wave/Omega Constellation/Br. Callistino),but knowing for damn sure what I now want! You guessed it--a Breitling. At 1st I was attracted to the Panerais (too pricey),then Omegas, and even the Stowas, but its the Breitlings that seem to call to me the most. I was real close to walking out of London jewellers last week with a blue-faced Cockpit & brown leather strap but for couple things--1) I wanted to check out a couple more styles and 2) I didnt want to commit so early on and spoil the fun of the chase. And, oh yeah that $ is already allocated for the watch purchase that started all this nonsense! Joe

Welcome to Breitling. Make sure you really do your research and try on a few before you make your decision for sure. I have heard an AD's name mentioned a few times that is located in your area and is good to deal with and competitively priced. You can PM if you have any interest in another AD. Best Regards.

Welcome!

That's a great wife, encouraging your interest! Good luck with the hunt for the upcoming Breitling(s), for both of you!

Welcome aboard, looking forward to assisting in the hunt for his and hers.

I'm sure you realise that the Callistino is a discontinued model, so you'll have to hunt for either a good used one or one still lurking at an AD.

If you like the Cockpit, would your wife like the Cockpit Lady - my wife and I have that combo and it's a nice dress watch while still being 'classicly understated'.
