The Breitling Watch Source Forums

Hi all, I've been reading many posts here for a while now and joined the forum a few days a go. A little about me:

As a child I was always fascinated with my fathers watch, which as I grew up I learned was an Omega speedmaster professional mark II (from 1970). In hindsight I wish he'd purchased a 'mark one' as I prefer the case shape, oh well.

So why am I here..... Well when I first got a job I started looking for a decent watch for myself, and the one that struck me in the dealers windows was always a Breitling Navitimer: black dial white sub dials white stitched leather black strap etc etc, well I never managed to afford one, my musical instruments always took priority (and gained me an income) and the watches kept increasing in price. So I'm here to rectify this situation I'm a bit older not really much wealthier but am ready to add a more serious watch to my collection.

My tastes have changed slightly over the years, I'm sure at some point I will add a nice 806 to my collection (it will be a great nostalgic day for me) but I tend to favour a simpler dial now and have become mildy obsessed with a 2002 Top Time black dial white/silver sub dials.

Now if only I can find a decent one! Hopefully some of you might be able to help, am insanely jealous of some I've seen in the vintage discussion area.

2002s are around, but not so many good ones, just make sure that you get a piece checked out in the vintage section before committing.
