Well not quite I bought a Super Ocean in 1965 It was the first proper S/O not a Navy timer modified.
But sadly it does not work and hasn't for years. Breitling said they could not do an economical repair on it so it sits in a drawer.
Anyway After a couple of replicas I now have another real one. I'd been tempted a couple of times by eBay but resisted out of fear of paying hundreds if not a couple of thousand then finding I'd bought a replica.
I now have a Sea Wolf in Platinum with platinum colour coded face. Bought from Dysons & Sons, Breitling Dealer in Leeds so I know I have a real one.
I'm really impressed with the individual colour coded face. I've searched but haven't seen another yet. black blue yellow and white, but no platinum grey ones.
I think the Sea wolf to be a proper successor to the S/O Professional with it having the Helium bleed valve.
One other thing, my Sea Wolf is not a divers watch. It's a retired divers watch

I have to think of another strap for it
I'd almost forgot what the original strap looked like. After the original one split I put a Fixoflex one one. It was much easier fitting over my Dive dress cuff with cold fingers . Dracha reminded me of the Tropic ones being original. Looking at the them reminded me.
The modern Dive Pro straps are very nice being Breitling. The leather with white stitching also but not truly original to my SO.
Not only that putting a modern strap on a 65 watch, I'm not sure it would work.
I'm thinking of a Tropic strap with a Breitling wings buckle. But I'm watching eBay for a bargain

Well I have gone for the Tropic strap to keep it original. But gave in to a little bling with a new tang buckle
I will need to replace the buckle on the strap, not sure if it is an easy do or maybe go to my local jewellers. Any comments?

It is probably just attached with a spring bar so should be easy to change out.

I'm not much bothered about the one on the strap. But don't want to scratch the B Wings one.

You would have to try hard to scratch a tang inserting a spring bar. To be safe just put tape over any parts that the end of the spring bar might touch while you seat it.

Just thinking , a. 22mm tropic tapers to 18 mm (or 16mm?)

I did ask if the one for sale tapered from 22 to 20, the guy said yes.
