Hello everyone. My name is Brian and I reside in Fort Smith, Arkansas, USA. I currently own a Fortis Flieger Chronograph (purchased in 2006), and a Rolex Submariner w/datejust (purchased in 2006). I've narrowed my next purchase down to the Navitimer World. I do not have dealer locally, so I have a few questions for owners of the timepiece: 1. Does the timepiece have any maintenance issues? 2. What are the service intervals? 3. Does anyone have recommendation of a dealer to purchase from? I've thought about purchasing the Navitimer World on my upcoming vacation to Curacao in mid September, but I've called the local dealer and was quoted a price in the $5000 USD range. I can purchase this piece equiped with the steel bracelet stateside for $4365 USD from www.AboutTime.com , but the watch is on backorder. If any of you have anything you would like to add, please do so. Thank you in advance- ~Brian |

Hey Brian. Greetings from KC Mo. I don't have much to add as far as the particular model you are interested in but I would like to turn you on to my local dealer. They are Meierotto's Midwest Jewelers. My key contact's there are Jenny Meierotto and Shelby Kilgore. I have always been treated with the utmost respect, even month's before purchasing from them. The dealer is very reputable and you can be assured anything from them is exactly what you expect! They have a website but it is very basic. http://www.mjewelry.com/watches.html I have never inquired as to how much mail order or internet business they do, but I would have no problem buying from them over the phone if I did not live near.
