G’day from WA After posting the general newbie questions, that everyone gets sick off, I thought I would introduce myself. My Name is Mick and I live Perth Western Australia, I work as a gold miner in Papua New Guinea. I love all thing horology, normally in the form of a wall clocks, Australian Synchronome clocks specifically. I have now started to fall for things I can strap to my wrists. Not sure what lured me to Breitling but as in all things I do, I generally find the objects that have some obscure following, almost cult like. Anyway what a great forum Breitling Source is and congratulations to the admin team and founder, you have a good honest community here, something that other forums on the internet struggle to promote and attract. Great to be here Regards Mick (LR09WA) |

Nice peice of work. What sort of accuracy is expected from a Synchronome clock? Are there many losses because of the arrangement? |

It was the most accurate time piece up until the quartz movement and used mainly in scientific and industrial applications. The really cool thing about these clock is you can run multiple faces off the one master clock, meaning you could have a slave dial in each room in the house showing the same or different times. |
