All After lusting after a Navi World for too many years, I've finally pulled the trigger. I have a Tag Carrera which is nice, but I am very excited to add the Navi World to my collection. I was at my AD about 10-12 days ago to make the purchase, but he did not have the silver face World in stock. So he called up Breitling and they had them in stock, but they are not shipping new product in 2013 to ADs until today (closed for the holidays then inventory he told me??) I am in no rush, but excited that my first 'Ling will be "factory fresh" and not having been in a show case for a long period of time. What should I expect with a new purchase? It is an AD, so I know its a legit piece, but since its "factory fresh" should I look for a manufacture date on the watch, what sort of paperwork like COSC, warranty card, etc? I trust the AD (been in business for 60+ years) but since to me its a big purchase, just want to cover my you know what. Thanks in advance! |

Hi Eggzlot, Welcome to the Forum and I hope you enjoy your time here. ![]() If its an AD, then it will all be very accurate and above board. You should expect to see a COSC cetificate and warrantee book, a book on the Navi World and how to use/set it. An instruction book on the slide rule and a replica sliderule wheel for practice. It will come with an outbox and the famous Bakelite inner box. Inside the box should be a seperate padded cover that holds the watch on its padded cushion. I think you also get a strap tag. If I have missed anything, others here will be quick to correct me. I have the blue faced Navi World on a blue leather starp. Its one of the most beautiful watches ever designed in my opinion. So for me, yours was a good choice. ![]() Jim |

New boxes for late 2012 and 2013 are not Bakelite. Other than that correct. |

I just bough a fully polished world with a silver face as well. It was factory fresh, nothing like getting to remove the factory plastic from the bracelet and crystal. However I was dissapionted that it did not come in a Bakelite. Enjoy your new ling and wear it in good health. |

Sorry for the lower quality phone as it was taken on my phone, but here is the new beauty. Picked her up yesterday - was great to peel off all the stickers since it was straight from the factory. AD explained all the features, warranty, etc. Very easy and seamless process. Can't wait to get more info from this site, seems like a wealth of knowledge. |
