Post subject:  Hello everyone!!

Hello everyone! This is my first post, I just found out about BS from a salesman at my local Breitling dealer here in Pittsburgh PA.

Just wanted to put a little "hello" post up. I am looking forward to hanging out here and reading all the great info I can on Breitling.

Just a little background, my first Breitling was a Chronomat Evolution Black dial with white sub dials, followed by a nice Christmas gift from my Girlfriend and Uncle a pre-owned Bentley Motors white dial, and I have a black pre-owned Bentley Motors T on its way, and I am trying to decide if I want to get a Blackbird or Grey Avenger Skyland (one of these will be my next purchase within the next few weeks). I also have a Panerai 112 and B&R 01-92 PVD. I have a bunch of other pieces that aren't really worth talking about.
The Breitling I want the most is a Breitling for Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon in white gold (if they make it) or Platinum. Some day I will have one of those in my collection! What a beautiful watch!

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi, give a little background and prepare to join the community.

Welcome to the forum and very nice collection you have.

I'd suggest the Grey Avenger Skyland...that's next on my list also.

I was at the AD on Tuesday and I tried both the Blackbird on and the Skyland, I really like the Blackbird bracelet and the date window, but I love the thickness of the Skyland. I know the Blackbird is a little more than the Skyland...Im going to leave the decision up to my girlfriend, I'm going to take her there this upcoming Tuesday because she wants to look at the woman's Breitlings and I am going to make her choose my next one.

I wish my wife would help me pick out watches.

Instead my watch buying experience is completely covert.

I sneak into an AD, pick up whatever I currently 'need'.

Go home with the watch hidden under my shirt and sprint to the watchbox.

I then wear the watch and pray she doesn't notice it's new...usually accomplished pretty easily since "All those big stupid watches look the same".

Oh and it's never a matter or which should I get, it's always a matter of which should I get first ;)

I personally like white/cream dials, but when you stumble on amazing deals with pre-owned pieces, you really dont have a choice.

I really want to get a yellow dial seawolf titanium soon...

Oh, and my girlfriend and I have a nice little agreement, anytime she buys glasses, handbags or any accessory, I buy a watch, and visa versa, although she doesn't know of every watch I buy. Now she is getting into watches, she loves my PAM112 and Bentleys, and wants one for herself. I think big watches look HOT on girls!

Welcome to the forum. I am trying to get my wife interested in watches too. I think she would rather have another handbag or pair of True Religion jeans instead. Take care and I look forward to your posts. This is a great place!

Completely agree. I wish my wife would wear bigger watches. The largest she owns is a J12 and that's huge for her.

That was the first watch I bought my Girlfriend, Channel J12! If I bought her a Panerai or Bentley, I would more than likely have to get a custom strap made for her because her wrist is so small!

Unfortunately, this is the only picture I can find of my favorite Breitling, and I just sold it last week to a Doctor friend, and I want it back!! Breitling for Bentley Motors, off-white dial. (I did not mean to save this rendering, but I was playing with PhotoShop and accidently SAVED the effect)
