Hi all,

My name is Marcos and I live in San Diego.....32 y/o male in the Navy. Want to begin my watch collection with a Avenger Seawolf in Seal. It has a leather strap.

I guess my first question is if $3300 is a good price from a AD. They have refused to give me a discount but are going to through in an extra leather strap with a clasp on the end so it doesn't wear out the strap I guess. They will also ship out of state so I don't get hit with sales tax.

Is this a good price and if not can you guys put me in touch with someone with better deals?

Thanks!

First off welcome aboard, there are a few of us on here in San Diego, even one other I know in the Navy. :)

I'd be happy to help. I'm a little confused by the price you listed though, the Avenger Seawolf with Leather Strap has an MSRP of $2780. Which AD did you go to?

The AD I went to was the Royal Maui Jewelers in the Fashion Valley Mall. The model is the new model.....I guess. It has the numbers all around the dial instead of just at 12/3/6/9 marks. It was a Seal dial also.

Is that the new model of the ASW for 2008? I didn't even see it on the Breitling website yet.

I haven't seen that one yet, but the Breitling website always takes a while to catch up. The Japanese fitting site seams to update theirs a great deal faster: http://www.breitling.co.jp/fitting/

Royal Maui although has an amazing selection is very well known for not being discount friendly. Anything new... forget about it.

I'll PM you some useful info ;)
