Helllo I'm a Brit and love my Brights(sic). Nay it is a religion. My particular taste runs to pre 1999 stuff, and my dream watches tend to be pre 1972, and best of all, the stuff from the 40s. I do have soem modern Brights, 2 x Aviastars (Black & Havana) and one older Bright. The b'ling of pretty much anything from the last 10-12 years I can't see me wearing. For younger men than me I fear. I'll bring along two new and very interestign watch testing devices to this forum, one is called the 'Clang-ometer' and the other, the 'Waltometer'. These precision instrumertns are simple to use, instructions will follow, and those honoured with a test using either of these holy instruments, will soon see hoqw it works. I've used the 'Clang-ometer' once today in the Gallery, and it seems to be functioning well. I'll try the 'Waltometer' soon. I hope we can have some more fun with these later. I'll do my best to add some grist to the mill. |
