Good day everyone. I'm just joining the discussions after being a lurking member for a few weeks or so. I've found the forum to be a huge resource of information and great gathering of like minds. I only hope I can learn and participate over time. I am mainly a vintage chronograph collector these days. Mostly more common Venus, Landeron, and Valjoux movement pieces from the 40s-60s. I just completed my 1st Breitling a few weeks ago; a 1943 Ref. 178 with Venus 170 movement. It was a fun project and really got me focused on finding more vintage 'lings. I've got another 178 in line to be finished up in the next week or so, and I'm beginning a journey to put back together a '45 Chronomat. I look forward to hanging out here often, and learning as much as I can along the way. Cheers. David Hopper |
