Hi there,

Like other newbies around here I have been lurking around this great site for a while.
Top marks to all who run it and the contributors, well done!
Anyway, I got my first Ling back in 2001.
It served a 10+ years hard labour sentence of nearly every day wear without a single service. I know, not something I should be proud of :oops:
It has however tragically passed away a few weeks ago after a rather nasty fall onto a concrete floor at Beijing airport security check point :(
It will be receiving a well deserved dose of serious TLC at the Breitling Service Centre in Taipei next week which hopefully will bring it back to life. I am expecting that this will do some serious damage to my wallet.
Not as serious as the Navitimer Super Constellation LE did 2 weeks ago in Hong Kong however.
But that is another story for a separate post :D
Love it or hate it, I'm yet another Aussie that has been lurking around Asia for the last 15 years or so.
