New member here. I have been a longtime lurker on these forums lusting for a Breitling. Well my wife suprised me on Christmas day with a beautiful Superocean Chrono with the black face. Love the watch..just got it sized yesterday. It came with all papers, box, etc. It was originally purchased in 2006 from a AD. It was very gently worn, and looks new. The metal band was never used, as it came with a genuine leather band that the previous owner used. She paid $2800 US for it no tax. Do you think that was a fair price?? I love reading all these forum's lots of great info!! Tom :lingsrock:

Welcome to forums. The CSO is a great watch, wear it in good health!
And i think $2,800 is a fair price. Congrats! :lingsrock: :welcome:

What a lovely story. Congratulations and welcome. Like you, I've lusted after Breitlings for years and last month I managed to buy a new CSO exactly the same as yours with the black face and silver subdials from a AD while on holiday in Naxos, Greece. The guy gave me an amazing deal and I love it soo much, however I am guilty of babying it and have only worn it twice for work because I don't want to scratch it, so for the time being I wear it on my days off. But just like you wait ages to jump on a bus and then two come along at the same time, that's what happened to me. I couldn't bear the thought of having my lovely watch sitting indoors each time I went to work so I contacted those lovely people at Andrew Michaels here in the UK and they gave me a terrific deal on a used Titanium Seawolf which I wear for work each day and now I feel truly blessed. After hesitating for years to buy a Ling, I now find myself owning two in the space of two months, God knows how that happened, I'm still trying to work it out myself but hey who cares, as you can gather, I'm as happy as a clam and I sincerely hope you are too with your purchase. How about posting some pics of your pride and joy on here? Welcome aboard, I hope you get as much enjoyment from your watch and this great site as I have these past few months. :lingsrock:

The usual board method works, putting them on a site like photobucket, then copying the IMG code into your post here. If a picture is under 256Kb, it can be added to your post as an attachment.
