Hi All, Been reading this forums for a few weeks as a guest and it's such a great source of information  Thought i'd sign up since i've just bought my first breitling and waiting delivery from my local AD. So will have a photo or two up soon  Having just bought the SA I'm already looking at my next purchase of a rolex daytona and was wondering what others think about when deciding if to purchase brand new or 2nd hand in mint condition ? Thanks |

Welcome to BreitlingSource and congrats on joining the Breiting club. New vs. used really comes down to personal choice - many like the idea of buying from an AD and having that experience of a perfect piece with full warranty where you can choose the combination that you want. Others wouldn't dream of buying new because of the cost saving of used and accept that they have to buy the combinations available or wait. You pays your money and you takes your choice

Yeh I definately figure its down to personal choice and having gone through the experience of buying a few luxury watches in official dealerships already I'm very tempted with adding to my collection through good 2nd hand deals. Looking at the deals from some of the sponsors on this forum is definately a bad thing for me, I don't have much self control  and I can't get watches off my mind!
