Hi everyone, I have been lurking on the board a few months but decided to join up today. I bought a used Steelfish in May this year, it has a scratch on the bracelet but I got it for a very good price so I couldn't turn it down. The watch looks 3 times it's price tag IMO, the dial is fantastic  Is it possible for Breitling to remove scratches? How much are we talking? Thanks everyone. p.s. picture was taken with my phone

Welcome, yes Breitling can refinish scratches away, but if it's just a scratch or two you are much better off letting a local watch maker do a quick and inexpensive refinish on the affected area(s). Or just live with it until it is time for service. Bracelets scratch, fact of life. |

Welcome to BreitlingSource! You might want to search some of the threads for "cape cod" or "sunshine". Both are brands of polishing cloths that are well respected by members and may be able to help if the scratch isn't too deep. |

So you can only use Cape Cod cloths on the polished parts and not brushed? |

^lol, thanks One other thing.... The power reserve is supposed to be about 40 hours? but mine doesn't seem to last that long. Surely it doesn't need a service after 18 months? |

Welcome to the forums! Try winding it completely (40 or so times) and leaving it to see how long it's running exactly. You definitely shouldn't be having power reserve issues at 18 months. |
