My introduction to the watch world started when I moved to Poland from 2008-2009 for my job. A co-worker moved there as well and he had a modest collection (Superocean and Navitimer). Since then, I've wanted one but couldn't convince myself to spend that amount for myself even though I was spending thousands of dollars on handbags for my then girlfriend and now wife. Fast forward to August 2011... I can proudly say that I am an owner of the SOH 42 and my wife, the owner of a Starliner. I'll have to remember not to bring her to an AD when I purchase my next watch or she might unexpectedly walk away with a second watch. |

Welcome and a really awesome choice on your first Breitling. I've handled the SOH42 and it is quite nice - perfect size. What color combination did you get??? |

Thanks everyone. I've been lurking around this forum for quite some time and thought it was a good time to officially join. My SOH in black/black combination. I originally had my eyes on the Navitimer Datora, but thought the dial was too busy to be an everyday watch.  My wife's Starliner with the mother of pearl dial.  I hope the photos work. |
