Hi Everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself and thank the dedicated contributing members for their contributions. I've been trolling the site for days and learned so much, I decided to join to continue learning and to track the discussions. If your curious to learn how I got here.... As a result of attaining my revenue goals last quarter, I won a prize - a choice of a receiving a new Super Ocean Heritage Chrono or a Chrono Super Ocean with any configuration (dial, strap, etc.) Frankly, the choices were really a a recommendation, (I'll explain in a moment) and so...I came to the boards to learn about the Breitling history and brand. After all, if someone you respect makes a recommendation about a subject your not familiar with... you should consider, right? So I did. Now, at one point I learned could have chosen from a variety of brands, or applied a 4k USD credit to help purchase however, I learned that my associate who set up the prize basically suggested these two watches. Of all the brands his jeweler carried - he felt that these were the "best" value for the money and the best brand of choice. Again, I could have chosen a Tag (but I already have one), a Rolex, Ball or brands like Longines, Jaeger-LeCoultre, etc. Anyway, after visiting these boards and board of other brands, I decided to stay with his recommendation and with the Breitling brand. After I made my choice, I was thinking..."wait...maybe I;d rather have a different Breitling make and model..what else should I consider that's 42mm to 44mm?" Long story short, I ended up with one of his recommendations - a Chrono Super Ocean - black dial, Pro 2 bracelet. I could not be more satisfied. But, I have to confess....the thing is on my wrist now and (no need for pics, there are plenty or great SCO pics on the site) but .....I know what the real fuss is about! What a piece of work this thing is! It's just classic and simply amazing. I'd take a Breitlings over TAG or Rolex any day! I'm extremely happy and fortunate to have a Breitling and a SCO for that matter. And..I'm looking forward to getting my Breitling cap! That said, all I have to say... I think the Unofficial Bretling Source site and forum IS the official Breitling site as far as I'm concerned. I'll have some questions for you all soon so...thank you in advance! Cheers CS |

Welcome and congrats on the bonus, a good boss, and an excellent watch. However if you have been lurking you should know we never buy Quote: (no need for pics, there are plenty or great SCO pics on the site It didn't happen without pics. Look forward to seeing your new addition. |

Thx Sharkman. Ok - I'll get some pics up - perhaps tomorrow. I just want to justice to the watch and not post a blurry Blackberry pic. Besides, you must have seen the pics on the "It's Sunday... send pics of your Chrono Super Ocean" thread? Those are amazing.... but..I'll add some as well. cs |

Surely you can do better than my meager contributions to that thread. I've been wearing my Fish all day, but think it's time to swap it out for the CSO. We have the same one. Congrats on nabbing one before they are all gone. |
