Hello Everyone,

I’ve been lurking around this forum for some time but was adamant that I would only join once I owed a Breitling. That time has arrived! :lol: I’ll post those details on another thread later this week.

I’ve been a lover of Breitling watches ever since been given the “Concorde catalogue” a few years ago. Those poor pages are now pretty dog-eared, so it was a pleasant surprise when I realised that my AD had slipped the latest Chronolog 08 catalogue into the packet the day I collected my timepiece.

I’m an Engineer by training but have spent the majority of my working career in the financial markets. My interests (besides great watches) include general aviation, amateur photography and enjoying the great outdoor lifestyle South Africa has to offer. I’m married and have a five-year-old son.

Just a short message for Admin – Thanks for putting together such a great site. I’ve learnt more on this site than I would ever have imagined.
