Post subject:  Hello From the South Bay
Hey Guys,
Brand new to this forum, living in Santa Clara, CA. I'm yet to own a Breitling, but have been a fan for a few years now. I'm hoping to purchase my first within the next 3 months (6 months tops). Right now I have my heart set on a Super Avenger (white face) with a Pro2 bracelet. I still go back and forth on whether I like the Arabic numerals or the baton markers more. Right now I'm leaning towards the baton markers, but maybe I'll change my mind before I actually make my purchase. Well, I just wanted to say hello and I look forward to being on this forum.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

cali kid, I was born and raised in Monterey. I grew up on Del Monte golf course. I've only been up in the South Bay for about 8 months now. And yes, the G-Men had a year. I made it to Game One of the series - pretty awesome.

Old Del Monte is the oldest golf course west of the mississippi river and a fun place to play and not real expensive compared to most courses on the peninsula! Hope you get that SA asap! :lingsrock:

welcome to breitling source. The SA is an awesome watch. my vote goes for the white face baton on speed 2. either way though you cant go wrong. :lingsrock:

I was torn between the batons and numerals too....Believe it or not, my wife was the deciding factor.

Shot this with my iPhone, so it's not the greatest pic. I'm glad I went with the numerals. The polished numerals stand out and add a little bit more in my opinion, especially under sunlight or bright light.

Cali Kid, Del Monte is a cool course. The logo of the dude with the mustache is my favorite logo of all the Pebble Beach Company courses.

Boogiebot, I've never seen a SA on a Speed 2 bracelet. I've only seen the Speed bracelet with the Bentley Motors, which I really like. But I won't buy a Breitling for Bentley until I can buy an actual Bentley. Do you have any pics of a SA on a Speed 2?

Flynbyu, that SA is sick. I really dig it. Your wife has good taste.

I think I might have to cruise by one of the two local dealers tonight... Not to buy yet... Just looking.
