Hi All, Following Seebass, here is another New Zealander joining up. ![]() I could not resist the chance to sign up tonight at the 1,000th member or Breitlingsource. (Please tell me I get a free Breitling of my choice as a prize!) ![]() I am a recent Breitling convert and am doing all the research I can before making a purchase. I am especially interested in Navitimers or members of the Navitimer range like the Datora and Cosmonaute. I have been lurking for a while and am very fascinated (and terrified) by the forum on fakes. Some of you guys really know your stuff and I look forward to learning more from you over time! Regards Stuart |

Hi Stuart...welcome and congratulations on being member no 1000 as a heads up, one of our members was selling a datora at an exceptionally good price on the for sale board...$2500 I think and I'd have jumped on it if It wasn't for the fact I'm about to go for a legende instead. Enjoy your addiction ![]() |

Thanks for the welcome guys! Doctor diesel, I will check out the Datora advertised here (if it still for sale). Thanks for the heads up. (By the way, I think the Legende is a fantastic watch - way to big for my wrist unfortunatey). In the meantime, I look forward to reading the discussions and asking newbie questions every now and then. ![]() |

There's no such thing Chronograph! ![]() ![]() Seriously, unless you have 4" wrists or something, get yourself down to your AD and try one on for 10 mins. You'll be surprised at how quickly you can get used to the larger watches. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with "regular sized" watches, but speaking from experience I discounted the larger models for years before giving them a try....... and I've not looked back since. But either way, any Breitling is an awesome piece of kit, so you'll be pleased with whatever next one you get. ![]() |

Thanks Driver8 <goes off to measure wrist> "7 inches" Not exactly King Kong dimensions but I'll take that advice onboard and take another look at some of the larger ones when I am at an AD next. |

7" wrists should be fine, Chronograph. Mine are 7.5" and the larger models look fine. |
