Hello,

I am now a proud owner of a Super Avenger with black dial and SS bracelet. :D

I have been looking for this model for almost 4 months now.
It seems like the model with black dial is "sold out" all over Europe. I have been to a lot of ADs (in London, Paris and Norway) with no luck.
My local AD has waited for this model since october 07, .... and they still does'nt know when it'll arrive !

Anyone in this forum know why it is so hard to get ?

Could you also give me an update in the "ling club-scale"
I have seen some members operate with "3/4 ling club" and/or "full ling club"

Welcome to the board Tiger. Nice watch - although far to big for my weedy wrist!

I'm a tool watch man myself so don't get involved in the Full, 3/4, 1/2 Ling stuff but I'm sure the SA will gain you entry to the club. No doubt one of the gang will give you all the details :lol:

The SA on a Bracelet is ABSOLUTELY the full ling! :lol: :lol:

Occasionally for one reason or another certain models of watch become incredibly popular and as a result Breitling struggle to meet supply. This usually seems to happen with black dial models - the black dial Superocean Steelfish went through a serious supply shortage in the UK a little while ago, but that is apparently now sorted out. The SA (black dial) and Navi World (again, black dial) are the current models that are in short supply. I guess black tends to be most people's first port of call when buying their first high-end watch, so if a specific model is very popular it's always the black dial versions that end up selling out first. The black SA in the UK is on a 4 to 5 month wait at the moment.

If you take a look at the videos of the manufacturing process on the Breilting.com website, you'll see that each Breitling takes 10 months to produce, so I guess they can't suddenly react to shortages.
