Hi

This is my first post. I have been wanting a Breitling for as long as I can remember. My ideal choice would have been a chronomat white face face and dials with a pilot strap.
I saw a chronomat radium faced with a croc strap in my AD's window two weeks ago and it was very tempting due to the discount, so I went in and made the purchase.
When I got home home and examined it I found a few scratches and small indentations on one side. So then I had a problem, keep the watch and put the blemishes down to expereience bearing in mind it was discounted, or take it back. After reading some of the posts on this forum I took it back, the AD could sourse me an identical model from another branch or I could order exactly what I wanted from them and it would come from Breitling direct very small discount and I would have to hand over another £1000. Well my wife made up my mind, its not every day you can have a Breitling she said and if you are going to spend that amount of money, it would be better to get exactly what you want. So I am now waiting for Chronomat with white face and dials with a pilot strap to arrive.

The information I have found on this site is first rate.

Smart woman your wife

Congrats on the impending arrival, and you definitely did the right thing getting the exact one that you want - you'll have the watch for a long while after the cost is forgotten.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

It arrived and looks great. However it has to be sent away to have another link taken out of the bracelet, as my AD can only take out so many. Another week before it returns. :(

It's here; after waiting for it, then sending it away to get the bracelet adjusted my breitling has eventually arrived. It is great :D .
Now my wife, who has never owned a watch in the 10 years we have been married would like a Galactic 36, any pics of one with a pearl face and pilot bracelet would be appreciated plus any feedback on that model.
