Newbie to Breitling, I have been a Rolex person for the last 15 plus years and finally decided to try something new. I have had my eye on the B01's for some time and after several months of looking and doing research I pulled the trigger on a B01 (black/with white sub dials). I have had the watch for about 2 weeks so far, but from the first time I tried one on in the AD I could feel the solid build of these watches. The watch seems to be running very well and I am enjoying it so far. I bought it with a pilot braclet and a rubber strap, I put the rubber strap on for our vacation, the fit of the rubber stap is very comfortable. Looking to add a black croc band as we get closer to winter to change the look. Thank you everyone who contributes to this site as it had alot of valuable information when I was doing my research for a new Brietling. I apoligize in advance for the bad photo, I will try and get some better ones up later.

Nice watch! I was the same way, 35 yrs with a sub, never seriously considered buying another high dollar watch, but the B01 just blew me away, and the in-house movement is icing on the cake. I think you will like the croc, I have the deployment and it is very comfortable.
I just have to remember to take mine off before I jump in the shower! long time habits die hard.

Congtrats on a great piece! I have the same dial you do and the bracelet/strap combo too. Did you get the tang or the deployant for the strap? I also have a black croc strap for it (w/deployant) and it looks very good. It's also a very sturdy strap, almost like a leather bracelet.

I've been a rollie man myself for many years as well, and I have no regrets about joining the brotherhood of B. Although, I still have my rollies and do use them from time to time. The lighter, slimmer style of rolex complements the bigger, more robust style of Breitling quite well.
