Hi, i'm Rene, and i am glad to introduce myself on this great source with Breitling information with all these Breitling enthousiasts. Since my younger years (i'm only 25 now) i'm interested in swiss watches. Owned a Tag Heuer, Tissot an Promaster before with the years i became an Breitling addict. Nowadays I proudly own 2 'lings, a Breitling Superocean and a Breitling Shark. As a student (working parttime) i can't afford any new watch, and an dislike of the redemption of every new watch made me totally addicted to the local "ebay-like" local websites. I like to hear some more younger Breitling owners, and how people react on your watch. I really don't flaunt at all with these watches, but i'm not the stereotype Breitling owner (i'm a student, surfer, sportsman... casual guy, totally not brand/status interested) but sometimes when people recognize most call e'm fake. My opinion a lack of knowledge, and the overload of fakes going around (especially on younger wrist's). Here some pic's: SO ![]() Shark: ![]() |

I would say that in the event someone with no knowledge about you or your purchasing decisions calls out your watch as a fake, you should just proudly respond that Fake watches are for fake people. I think I saw that on here somewhere and it stuck wit me. Anybody knowingly wearing a fake would most likely carry a chink in their armor about their watch, and their reaction would show this. This is something a Breitling proud owner doesnt have to worry about. Welcome and stick around. These guys are the most helpful resource I have found |

Thank all for your response! Mabe your right about the stereotype owner, really hard to say. But in my case you can see that everybody can own Breitling if you want if you see the value of this brand. In my opinion Breitling owners see the value of a watch (not only in $). In my case i'm interested in watches, totally not in cars. I drive an old Fiat Panda bought for only $200, pure functional and cheap. I could buy a $20 watch, functional and cheap as well but the difference is my "black box" (most people buy based on value or rather their perception of value). Nice black Shark! saw it before when getting info about this watch, now i'm in negotiation about an Shark chrono automatic. Since i own the Superocean i feel more with automatic movements.
