Hi all:

I recently purchased a B-1, first breitling. All I can say is that its a killer watch really like it, but i have some questions.
This is not the super quartz dial however on the case back next to the model there is SQ stamped. Is this an indication that the original movment was replaced with the SQ movement?

I will be sending it in for an overhaul soon but I am curious. Anyone else have this?

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Not familiar with the B-1 so can't specifically answer about the SQ on the caseback. What's the model number of the watch - a68062, a68362 or a78362?

The case back indicates the follwowing A68362 SQ.

The model number indicates a late, COSC certified non SQ model. It's possible that the SQ indicates a factory replacement with the 78 (SQ version), just not come across it before.

I've never seen/heard of the SQ mark you mention. May I suggest you start a new thread in the Help section so as to reach more people with your question and, hopefully, someone will have an answer.
