Hi all. I have been a Breitling fan and in particular the Emergency model since around 1995 when a friend bought himself a Navitimer while on holiday in St Thomas and brought me back a catalog :) I have always had a watch fetish since I was a little kid as I would always ask for a watch for christmas. Bummer is that I would always be needing a new one before the next crimbo came around. For some reason I am very hard on watches and collisions with door knobs seems to be common tho hopefully that will change as of right now
I have just bought myself a pre owned Emergency from George at Govberg's with a little help from jnelson3097 and so now I am no longer a lurker and look forward to being a member of this forum.
Cheers,
David.

Dear Breitling, what is this and what have you done with my Emergency? ha!

So I mailed my Emergency off to BUSA as the digital display started to die and I was expecting a $400+ bill after shipping but I come to find out that this was the first time the watch was sent to Breitling and so they did the overhaul complimentary  I knew they buff the case/bracelet and replace the seals but I didn't realize that they replace the crystal as well  Basically if the serial number didn't match up I would think that this is a brand new watch. Now I will be afraid to wear it as even the desk diving marks are gone off the clasp.
It may have been its 1st visit back to Breitling but obviously it couldnt of been its first battery change so maybe Govberg changed the battery before I purchased it?
I am so happy to have it back after a month. They shipped it wrapped in plastic in a nice little travel case with a cleaning cloth. Christmas has come early :santa:
Cheers Breitling :lingsrock:
