Hi everyone. I was just given permission by the wife to get my first "REAL" watch as a graduation gift for completing Paramedic school! It was kind of a silly thing for her to do, as I am a bit of a watch junkie. I have a few nice watches (two Citizens, ESQ, Swiss Rolly Daytona replica, etc.) but nothing of this caliber I just placed an order for an Avenger Skyland Chrono steel bracelet with the slate gray face... my dream watch! I considered buying one online from Jomashop.com, but when I approached my local dealer (Precision Jewellers, Windsor, Ontario) he gave me a GREAT deal and the piece of mind knowing exactly what I am getting, with papers and legit Breitling warranty. Now for the bad news... It will take up to six weeks to get it in So in the mean time, I will drool over the pictures of the watches of members on here until it arrives! Cheers

Great watch you got coming in. Sorry to say it, but your other watches are going to take a major back seat once that beauty slaps on your wrist. The wait will be terrible, but the day of arrival will be one of the best days of your life. It was for me!

Congratulations on the new breitling. On the delivery time I hope it is 6 weeks as I have a Super Avenger on order from a Langley BC AD, and so far it has been 3 months. The Canadian distributor seems to have problems filling orders. Hope you get yours soon.

God, I hope it doesn't take that long. I just returned from Jamaica, and they had the VERY watch i ordered at the Duty Free shop in the Airport!!! I could have got it for $100us more than I am paying from my local AD

That settled it for me. I canceled my order on the gray dial and am going with a black dial the dealer has in store. I actually reeeeally like the black dial, but just wanted something a little different, as black seems to be THE color to get. As a matter of fact, I like the fact the black one in stock has the polished stencil font numbers on the face, unlike the gray one which will likely come with the white luminescent stencil font on the face. Picking it up tonight... very excited!!!
