Hello everyone!

Resolutions are funny. Sometimes we consciously resolve to do something, as we do every year on January 31st.

Other times, we just come to realize that we've made a change, without explicitly choosing to. That is what's happened with me recently. I've decided in a roundabout fashion that I would like to own a nice watch.

Now, of course, "nice" is a relative term. For me, this is going to mean a lot of research and education and saving up a bit of money. I've begun by visiting a couple of jewelers and saying, "someday, but not today, I am going to buy a nice watch. Where do I start?"

That approach has answered some of my initial questions and has led me to seriously consider Breitling. I am an outdoorsy guy who has served in the Marine Corps and in a mountain search and rescue unit. So I'm leaning towards an Emergency model.

Well, that's about it. Thanks for the forum; it's already answered some of my questions.

Peace

Mike

Good luck on your search! Try the link at the bottom, you can't go wrong with those badboys IMO.
