This is my first day here, and wanted to say hi, so: Hi!
I really want to get a windrider starliner and found a bunch of them online.
And I must say I really like their prices, but am a bit apprehensive about the warranty-thing. So, what do most of you think about buying from online shops?
Thanks! I can use all the help I can get.

Welcome to BreitlingSource!

Starliners are not the biggest sellers so AD discounts are fairly decent - depending on what part of the world you are in you can probably get close to online prices without the lack of warranty. In the US PM jnelson3097, in the EU try Andrew Michaels (link at the top of the page), in Canada PM me, elsewhere - well, let us know where you are

If you do buy online, stick to one of the well known companies - PrestigeTime, AutheticWatches, JomaShop, etc; make sure that the serials are intact (otherwise Breitling won't touch it) and treat is as though you have no warranty and you'll at least know what you are dealing with.

Thanks for replying!
I'm in Texas and have to drive quit a while to get to an AD.
The biggest thing that worries me about buying online is if I end up having a big problem with it where I would need to send it back to Breitling that they won't fix it, or they might fix it but it would cost me an arm and a leg. (I know I'm buying a Breitling and not a swatch... but still I don't want to get bitten in the butt so to speak...)
One of the salespersons at an AD actually told me about a Rolex that was send in for repair, they found it had different (not Rolex) parts in it and they ended up keeping the watch.. Now I think that might be a bit harsh, but still it makes me wonder....

Thanks again for the advice!

Definitely PM jnelson3097. He can introduce you to the famous George at Govberg who can give you a very attractive AD price and can overnight the watch to you. Check the feedback section for literally dozens of satisfied customers.
