I will turn 60 years old next year, and plan to celebrate with the purchase of a pre-owned if not new, Navitimer World. Perhaps like many owners of this particular model, I will enjoy the Navitimer World not so much as an object of conspicuous consumption (...did that with the car), but more for what it represents as an accomplishment of 20t century industrial engineering.

I am reading posts on the forum, to learn all I can before making the purchase. I don't want to clutter the site with redundant questions about how to find a reputable dealer and the best price. I will be interested to learn about offers to sale a previously owned Navitimer World A2432212 with black face and brown leather band.

Anyway, to the moderators ad members, tanx, great resource!
