Throwing in my 2 cents. Just recieved my SA yerterday through the group buy. The contact at the AD could not have been any more helpful. I would recommend to anybody on this forum to purchase through this AD. I was out of options with my local AD and thought the best discount I would find in my area was 10-15% off. Contacted Mario who was more than happy to help out even though I have not been a member of this forum for the 90 days stated in the group buy thread. The group buy AD is listed on Breitling's site as an AD. I checked this BEFORE I called an purchased my watch.

I received information from a number of different people about Feldmar, which I confirmed, but made the mistake of not checking with Mario about replacement ADs.

I freely confess that I have absolutley no comprehension for the need for secrecy by ADs on this, and I stand by my endorsement of Govberg where the lack of secrecy has allowed me to form my own opinions. However, I'm not in the US, and it's not my money so caveat emptor wherever you buy.

In a forum like this there will be all kinds of different people and personalities and differences will happen. I thank all of the people who took the time to PM me, and I apologise to anyone offended.

Thank you for taking the time to look into it a bit more. Roff, I would be happy to share any info regarding the AD or the process with you privately. You can talk to them on your own if you like, they really are good people. It's a shame about Feldmar as they were great as well. There were other circumstances that had nothing to do with this group buy which is their business so I can't comment on it.

That said if there is anyone else that would like to do the group buy in 2009 be my guest. I have a couple of more requests as of this morning that I have on hold until we figure all of this out.

One of the AD mentioned in this post has politely requested that they not be brought up, so we're going to lock this thread down for now out of respect for them. This does NOT imply that anyone was right or wrong or anything of that nature.
