Thanks folks..

Update.. Did the strip thing.. and yea, dealers did not want to discount much... not enough. Was going to call one of your Retail supporters who offers a fair deal.. But came across a Brand new SA , bought from a local Authorized retailer for a low price. The watch was recently bought, has everything, and has not even been sized. I am having him meet me at the retailer ... will confirm everything -- and pay him in cash.

Anything I should ask him or the retailer? I am going to try to get info on the warranty of the watch here.. But thinking it is transferable?

Thanks

ps.. Unfortunately , this watch is pretty thick. But for my limited funds, it offers me the best value, I think.. Like driver8 said.. the others are more money.. Love the B01... But cash is tight..

I wouldn't buy the SA if you think it's too thick already. It just sounds like you're not convinced enough to buy it. I'd look at buying a preowned Chronomat if you think the SA is too big. There are plenty of preowned Chronomats out there.

I like it.. and want a watch now..lol.. Tired of searching and don't have the time to learn how to tell a fake one for each model. I'm afraid of being ripped off, not knowing how old a watch is, or if it has been maintained.. etc... Too many if's for me. not exactly the watch I want, but no worries either, and I can afford to pay cash for it.... who knows..if my business stays good, maybe I can get another one later.. I know I'll be looking at them! lol

Done deal.. Bought the new one off ebay, from a local guy who had it sitting around 1.5 years.. Only a short time left on warranty... But Had him meet me at the Authorized Jeweler who sold it. Confirmed... and paid $3800... I paid all the money. But it was important to me not to get ripped off. Too many scams on these out there, and even more here in Vegas. All in all pretty happy. "The Jewelers" sized it up for free, and was very good with everything. They will be seeing me again.

Heres some pics..
