Hi everybody, my name is Bram.
A little more than 3 years ago I received a watch as a gift from Taiwan. I had no knowledge of Breitlings except that they were high end and expensive. I did a bit of investigation and compared the watch I had received with other Breitlings that a friend had and was devastated to discover I had a fake. Not a very good one either. However having spent so much time trying to find out more information spurred me on and I became fascinated with Breitlings. Walking past some windows without stopping became almost impossible. I took the plunge and bought a Colt Quartz with a fighter bracelet. Looking around and learning a bit more I set my heart on getting an automatic. I sold the quartz and bought an older (1995) Colt Automatic with a bull leather strap, got it serviced and really enjoyed wearing it. The only problem I found was that the dial was white and it was not always easy to see the hands. Meanwhile windows were still a problem and then last week I saw an Automatic Chrono Avenger (Graphite or perhaps Anthracite dial) in Titanium with a Pro 1. Wow what a watch, absolutely stunning. They reckon that if you are still happy with a purchase more than 48 hours later you probably did ok. Well "happy" is an understatement.

Breitlings are like chips, you can never stop at just one. Ask your dealer for the latest catalogue (called Chronolog) and see what you would like next!

congrats on the new watch bram. i'm in full agreement with withnail21, these things are addictive. i ended up getting my second ling only 2 months after the first, and i'm already eyeing a third. its terrible and great at the same time. watch your new chrono avenger in health.
